Bulldog was established in 2000 as a specialist provider of broadband services to both consumers and businesses.
In June 2005 Bulldog launched the UK’s first consumer offering of a combined superfast 8 meg broadband and phone service. Bulldog broadband services are available to approximately 30 per cent of homes and businesses across the UK. Bulldog is a pioneer of Local Loop Unbundling (LLU). Bulldog was acquired by Cable and Wireless plc in May 2004, and is a wholly owned subsidiary.
