ConnectMeAnywhere Chooses LUUP As Mobile Payment Method For Call Credit

ConnectMeAnywhere, a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications service provider, has chosen LUUP for mobile payments. By introducing LUUP as a new, additional payment method, ConnectMeAnywhere customers will be able to automatically top-up call credit. For a limited period of time, all UK and Norwegian ConnectMeAnywhere customers will receive a GBP£2 or EUR€2 rebate on their first payment made using LUUP.

The ConnectMeAnywhere service allows users to make domestic and international calls from mobile phones or landlines at extremely competitive rates. Once set up with a LUUP account, ConnectMeAnywhere customers will be able to automatically refresh their call credit using their mobile phone. Money spent will be debited from the customer’s LUUP account which is fully integrated with UK banking systems, allowing funds to be securely accessed from credit or debit cards.

Once signed up with a LUUP account, ConnectMeAnywhere customers will also be able to make use of other features including its ability to handle payments between individuals. LUUP users who want to send money to a friend or split a restaurant bill can send money with one SMS to anyone with a mobile phone. If the recipient is not a LUUP user, they will receive an SMS with the amount sent to them and an invitation to sign up for an account. Once the LUUP account has been credited the recipient can save their money in their account, use it for purchases, or transfer it to their bank account.
