10 April 2007 – Allied Telesis, a global provider of secure Ethernet/IP access solutions and an industry leader in the deployment of IP Triple Play networks over copper and fiber access infrastructures, today announced the launch of its new corporate website at www.alliedtelesis.com. The site has been completely redesigned and rebuilt to optimise its usability for customers and partners.
New features include easier selection of key vertical markets to help customers understand solutions applicable to their industries, as well as the reorganisation of the Solutions area, which highlights applications for making a profit via a network (the Managed Services area) and applications for optimising networks (the IT infrastructure area).
Allied Telesis’ extensive lineup of products is now segmented by product line, for faster product selection. Product selectors have been upgraded and made more visible. The customer self-help “Resources” area offers updated technical information along with product multimedia presentations.
The customer-facing Service/Support section has also been restructured. Allied Telesis puts the answers to product support questions in customers’ hands by offering extensive online product documentation and software upgrade capabilities.
Millions of Page Views a Year

Continued Focus on Customer Satisfaction and Internal Best Practices
Allied Telesis’ commitment to customer satisfaction and to its partners is underscored by the popularity of its up-to-the-minute alerts for updated support documentation and corporate news via an XML-based RSS feed. The database underpinning the site has also been completely redeveloped and populated with updated information, which will make it quicker and easier to feed new content into the company’s PartnerPortal sites, dedicated to Allied Telesis’ VAR communities in individual countries throughout the world.
Allied Telesis’ corporate strategy of facilitating and driving internal best practices throughout its worldwide presences is also reflected in the design of the new website. The common code base that will now serve most of the company’s national and regional sites creates a common look and feel while ensuring more efficient utilization of corporate marketing and financial resources.
Further New Features Coming Soon
Additional applications and content will continue to be rolled out on the site over the next few months. Alongside localization into a variety of different languages, upcoming site enhancements will include a new application to advise customers on replacements for products at the end of their lifecycle; new, web-based warranty sign-up forms to replace the current hardcopy procedure; and expanded online training and testing resources.
