Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0 Receives ‘Best Buy’ Award From PC Advisor

Abingdon, UK, 11 May 2007 - Information security software vendor, Kaspersky Lab, has received a further commendation for Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0. The product received the prestigious ‘Best Buy’ award from the respected consumer title, PC Advisor. Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0 has already won a number of awards, including the Computer Shopper Best Buy award, Computer Buyer Best Buy award and the CNET Editor’s Choice award.

PC Advisor lauded Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0 for its excellent detection rates: “Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 shines for its top-notch malware detection and disinfection performance. It boasts a 96 per cent detection rate and it was best at disinfection, cleaning 86 per cent of all items.” The product also received praise for the speed of its updates: “It is the fastest at delivering new signatures, at an average of 0-2 hours.”
