appiChar Wins More Not For Profit Customers

appiChar Ltd, the leading specialist in providing IT consultancy and support services to the not for profit sector, today announces five more organisations to add to its growing portfolio of customers.

appiChar welcomes the following organisations:-

The Royal Association for Deaf People. (RAD) promotes the welfare and interests of Deaf people (by which we mean deaf people whose first or preferred language is sign language). www.royaldeaf.org.uk appiChar is upgrading their head office network and then providing on-going IT support. There are about 40 users at their head office and about 30 others around the Essex area. This is appiChar’s first ‘Royal’ organisation to add to their growing list of not for profit customers.

Providence Row. Providence Row’s is a homeless charity located in Tower Hamlets – one of the poorest communities in the UK. As a local charity they focus all their efforts on helping anyone who needs help in the City of London and the East End. They work to transform the lives of those who turn to them for help by offering advice, support and practical help. http://www.providencerow.org.uk. appiChar will be providing full IT support for their servers and about 20 staff.

Camden Police Consultative Group. The Consultative Group is an independent forum, comprising of representatives of a wide range of community interests. Since it was formally constituted in 1987 the Group and its activities have grown substantially. The Consultative Group exists to provide a means for local consultation between the police and the community on all matters relating to the policing of the London Borough of Camden. http://www.camdencpcg.org.uk/

The Disability Resource Centre (DRC) was opened in 1988 for people with physical and/or sensory disabilities who live in the Borough of Waltham Forest. The DRC is run for and by people with disabilities. It has a Management Committee of elected service users and a staff team, the majority of whom are disabled people. http://www.wfdrc.org.uk/
