Suits a variety of mailing applications, combines enhanced security, ease of use...

Neopost, the worldwide provider of mailing and shipping solutions, introduces its new DS-86 Folder/Inserter system. Capable of filling up to 4300 envelopes per hour, the unit is the most efficient folder/inserter system on the market. Neopost’s newest product facilitates user-friendly operation with automatic job setup combined with high output levels, enhancing the productivity of dedicated mailrooms.

Neopost’s DS-86 has introduced a new feature to the market which allows the unit the highest level of security of any unit available. With the brand new 2-track Optical Mark Recognition function, the DS-86 securely processes sets of transaction documents with varying numbers of pages. The 2D barcode recognition guarantees that each printed job is actually mailed, eliminating manual mailcenter errors.

In addition to increasing document processing productivity, the DS-86 supports new market needs by leveraging lower postage costs. The unit offers smarter folding options, allowing companies a cost-efficient option to avoid new monetary pitfalls resulting from USPS shape-based postal rate increases. The DS-86 is integrated with Output Management Software solutions, which optimize productivity by automating document sorting and grouping to maximize mailing output. With the capability to program up to 25 jobs, a FlexFeed feeder cascading feature which reduces the need for user intervention, and automated document sorting and grouping, the DS-86 saves both time and money.

The folder/inserter has the capability of filling up to 4300 envelopes per hour with a productive duty cycle of 80,000 documents a month. Output is supported by a 500 document PowerStacker™ and a side exit which can hold up to 500 envelopes. High capacity document feeders hold up to 325 sheets for a maximum total of 2,825 sheets.

The DS-86 is fully upgradeable as needs arise with varying applications in any mailroom.
