Bracknell, UK January 25, 2008 – Fujitsu Siemens Computers today announced it has lent its support to the Deutsche Messe AG and the Climate Savers Computing Initiative to help boost awareness of the critical issue of energy efficient computing. Fujitsu Siemens Computers will be displaying its range of Green IT products in the “Green IT Village” in Hall 9 and participating in a variety of Green IT-related activities at the show, to be held March 4-9 in Hannover, Germany...
Following its promise to be the first IT vendor to completely move to energy efficient products and to be the first to offer them without a price-premium, Fujitsu Siemens Computers will demonstrate PCs for the consumer and for business as well as notebooks and servers, all designed and built with Green IT in mind.
The ESPRIMO proGreen Selection shows the latest in energy-saving PC technology and the zero-watt monitor proves how tremendous savings can be made. Further highlights include the first notebooks in the world to achieve the rigorous Nordic Swan certification and the leading energy-saving PRIMERGY servers. The latest PRIMERGY server will be shown in a direct comparison with a previous model, demonstrating the improvements in energy management and efficiency which can be made.

In the “Green IT Village“ Fujitsu Siemens Computers joins with the Climate Savers Computing Initiative and other major players in presenting products and solutions for more energy-efficient computing and more responsible product design.
