SUNNYVALE, CA – January 31, 2008 – Solix Technologies, a leading provider of Enterprise Data Management Solutions used by large enterprise customers to manage business critical data, announced today they have entered into a partnership with ISIT AE, a leading storage systems integrator based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Under the terms of the agreement Solix and ISIT AE will deliver Solix Enterprise Data Management Suite 4.0, a complete enterprise data management platform, to customers throughout the Middle East. Oil and gas exploration throughout the region has created a rapidly expanding economy, spurring both IT growth and the need for effective data management. This strategic business partnership expands Solix’s global network of strategic and technology partners.

In recent years, the Middle East has emerged as a lucrative market for providers of information and communications technology (ICT). According to a recent report by RNCOS titled “Middle East ICT Market Analysis,” the Dubai, UAE IT market is anticipated to grow from approximately US$1.5 Billion in 2006 to US$ 2.4 Billion by 2011. Dubai is geared to become the information and communications technology hub with free trade zones and heavy investments that are expected to boost innovation and exploit the technological potential of the country. The use of information technology always leads to data growth so the region is also expected to experience rapid growth of business-critical data, which will, in turn, increase demand for cost-effective storage solutions, and data management tools that will enable customers to store, monitor and access data efficiently.

Europe’s pioneering Storage systems integrator and storage specialist ISIT has entered the Middle East market with the opening of an office in Dubai “ISIT AE”, and will introduce enterprise class storage solutions for mid-market customers to meet growing demand driven by increased data complexity. Solix will provide a total data management solution into the ISIT storage stack by offering policy based archiving for application performance, security in test and development, and Information Lifecycle Management.
