Infor Drives Faster Processes and Better Data Handling for Jardine Motors

Financial Consolidation and Clearer Business Intelligence across 40+ Sites

FARNBOROUGH, UK – March 18, 2010 – Infor, the leading provider of business software for mid-market customers, today announced that prestige car dealership Jardine Motors Group UK has chosen Infor PM 10 for its performance management (PM) and business intelligence needs.
Jardine Motors, which represents premium brands such as Mercedes Benz, BMW / Mini, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin and Bentley, will use the software to improve its budgeting, consolidation and financial and operational reporting for 19 franchises spread across more than 40 sites. Previously these processes predominantly used spreadsheets, which led to significant delays when manually consolidated and this meant decision making was often out-of-date.

We estimate significant labour savings are achievable at each site, particularly from our integrated budget and forecasting models. The first stage of the project has been budgeting, with the 2010-2012 cycle now completed. A project team comprising IT and finance representatives from Jardine Motors, together with an Infor project manager, delivered the first phase on target and on budget. The next stage is to deliver enhanced group consolidation with fully integrated budget and actual figures. Users will then have access to high quality management information.
