SEH exhibiting at FOSE for the second time...
Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, February 8, 2006.
At this year’s FOSE SEH Technology will be exhibiting its broad range of network printing solutions for public, government, and military institutions which have the highest security demands. FOSE is the leading US event for public sector business. In the Department of Defense (DOD) Pavillion (booth #1931), networking specialist SEH Technology will focus on fiber optic print servers, highlighting PS26, the first IPv6-enabled fiber optic internal print server for HP EIO interfaces worldwide. FOSE 2006, celebrating its 30th anniversary, will be held at the Washington Convention Center, Washington DC, from March 7 through 9.
SEH will be presenting the world’s largest portfolio of fiber optic print servers at the leading US IT event for the public sector market. Visitors may learn about fiber-to-the-desk (FTTD) print servers, connecting output devices to eavesdropping secure fiber optic networks, as well as about solutions for encryption, authentication, and access control. These are especially interesting for public institutions, defence and intelligence organizations, and government sites with strict demands regarding eavesdropping security and data protection.
SEH’s FTTD print server line includes 10BaseFL and 100BaseFX fiber network interface cards for HP, Epson, and Kyocera devices as well as external fiber optic print servers for Centronics and USB 2.0 high speed printers. The latest addition to this product family is PS26, the world’s first IPv6-enabled internal fiber optic print server for HP printers and MFP. Equipped with the latest ThinPrint® .print client v6.2 PS26 decodes ThinPrint® SSL encryption. Moreover, SEH will offer information on a broad range of internal and external WLAN print servers for use in security sensitive areas – the latest WLAN print server PS54-G features WPA/WPA2. All SEH print servers and print appliances provide extensive security functions including authentication (Cisco LEAP, EAP-MD5, EAP-TLS), print data encryption (SSL, TLS), and access protection.
By exhibiting at FOSE for the second time in a row, SEH underlines the continuing strategic importance of the US public sector market to its business development. Last year the company signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro Inc., the world’s largest technology sales, marketing, and logistics company, and now offers its product line through CDW, CDW-G, and GTSI. These agreements help to strengthen awareness of SEH and its relevant product portfolio among IT administrators and buyers in the public sector.
