Award Winning Managed Service Provider Breaks Into Asia Pacific With Managed Message...

Award winning email managed service provider Email Systems has signed a deal with Hong Kong based company Managed Message to become the organisation’s exclusive distribution partner into the burgeoning Asia Pacific region and realise the enormous potential of both the Chinese and Hong Kong markets.

Established in 2001 as a pioneering Hong Kong based Linux developer which specialised in developing messaging systems, Managed Message has a broad base of contacts throughout the Asia Pacific region, with customers ranging from 5 to 1,000 users across a wide range of sectors, including manufacture and education. The founders of Managed Message have now adapted their business to solely distribute Email Systems’ service to the regional market.

The Hong Kong market currently lags behind Europe and the US in terms of messaging security – indeed, whilst some businesses in the region currently use either software or appliances to combat email threats, many merely accept the problem of spam and have yet to deploy a solution. With virtually no competition, both Email Systems and Managed Message believe that the Hong Kong market offers considerable growth potential for managed services and Email Systems’ services, particularly as spammers are increasingly targeting non-native English speaking countries.

Email Systems’ service was recently recognised by global IT Security publication SC Magazine as the pre-eminent managed service provider in the trial and the only one to be awarded the highest possible grading – CheckMark Premium.

Email Systems has also recently unveiled a number of key upgrades and enhancements to the service, including an Archiving system which allows users to retain a secure store of emails that have been both sent and received, whilst providing a detailed search facility, allowing the user to interrogate the system for information either in the body of an email or even within its attachments.

Other key upgrades to the services include Zero Hour Virus Filtering and Spam Outbreak Detection modules, a Redesigned User Interface, TLS (Transport Layer Security) Encryption and a new Proactive Security Monitor. Email Systems manages and monitors the flow of spam and virus infected email messages on behalf of millions of corporate and public sector users across the UK.
