New Range Of Software To Enhance Mobile Entertainment

bhv Software GmbH & Co.KG, Germany, a leading developer of digital media software for mobile devices, has announced that it will be dramatically expanding its operations within the UK. Under the name of X-OOM Software, bhv will be releasing many new titles in the UK in 2006 starting with the launch of two comprehensive media suites for the iPod™ and PSP™.

The two new titles, PSP Media Suite and iPod Media Suite, will complement the dynamic range of high quality software from X-OOM for owners of mobile phones, PSPs, MP3 players and PDAs. Several new titles will join the existing range in the coming months with UK distribution handled by Gem and Interactive Ideas.

PSP™ Media Suite
The PSP Media Suite is an all-in-one entertainment solution for the Sony® PSP to enable users to take digital photos, music and film wherever they want. The PSP Media Suite combines three of X-OOM’s best selling stand-alone products including Movies on PSP (to convert and transfer movies and TV programmes for viewing on the PSP), Photoshow on PSP (to transform a Sony PSP into a mobile digital photo album) and Music on PSP (to record up to 400 songs from the internet within one hour and save them to the PSP). The PSP Media Suite will ensure that users make the most of their Sony PSP as it will handle up to ten different video formats. X-OOM’s Fit-to-stick™ Technology allows the user to define the final size on the memory stick, leaving space for game results, music, photos etc. With the package the user will also receive a USB transfer and charger cable.

iPod™ Media Suite
iPod™ Media Suite is a multi-functional software package enabling users to get the full potential from their iPod. It combines X-OOM’s Movies on iPod (to copy a wide variety of films in only a few clicks), MP3 Radio Recorder for iPod (for storing up to 400 songs per hour from the internet), Photoshow on iPod (for transferring and showing digital images in new ways on the iPod) and iPod Backup (for ensuring your data is entirely secure by enabling transfer to any home PC and back).
