Eclipse Internet has extended its reduced price offer on its SDSL (symmetrical broadband) services due to increased demand and the growing market for business SDSL. In September, Eclipse dropped its prices by 33 per cent, bringing it to a third below the industry average.
The offer, which has been extended until further notice, includes free connection and equipment worth over £400 to those who sign up to Eclipse Internet's SDSL 500, 1000 or 2000 services, to encourage businesses to make the step.
SDSL broadband offers businesses many benefits over ADSL broadband. An SDSL connection provides the same upstream as downstream speeds for transferring files to the Internet, ensures faster connectivity for teleworkers and has a lower contention ratio.
Luke Lang, marketing manager at Eclipse, said: "The market for business SDSL is growing and the benefits of a high-speed, two-way connection are ideal for data-hungry businesses and offer a viable low-cost alternative to expensive leased lines. Our approach to SDSL pricing has made the technology even more affordable, and as our recent sales show, more attractive to businesses."
