Travelex Invests In Workforce Management Solution From WorkPlace Systems

Retail Solutions, Milton Keynes – 18th July, 2006 - WorkPlace Systems plc, the leading supplier of Workforce Management solutions is pleased to announce that it has secured a new contract to supply its WorkPlace software, labour standards and consultancy to Travelex Group’s UK operations.

To support corporate growth objectives, Travelex was looking to better match its staff and resources with demand to increase revenues as well as managing costs more effectively. WorkPlace Systems was chosen for its ability to quickly design and implement idealized staffing schedules to meet demand to improve customer service whilst controlling staff costs. The implementation initially starts in Travelex’s 140 UK sites located in major Airports and Ports. Once the strategic side of scheduling has been implemented, Travelex plan to improve the operational side of their staff management using other modules of WorkPlace’s solution. “WorkPlace Systems were able to demonstrate real benefits in a very short time, delivering an immediate impact on our business”. stated Paul Swainson, Travelex’s UK Retail Director.
